24×7 Managed Cyber Defense Services: SECUINFRA expands all-round protection against cyber attacks
Berlin, 25.07.2022 – SECUINFRA, leading cyber defense specialist in Germany, extends its existing 24×7 Managed Cyber Defense Service: A new addition to the co-managed SIEM service is 24×7 accessibility for the Compromise Assessment and Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) services. With the Compromise Assessment Service, experts detect compromised IT systems, ideally before high damage has occurred. The DFIR service provides customers with efficient and targeted support in resolving cyber attacks and other IT security incidents.
SECUINFRA has been offering the Co-Managed SIEM Service as a 24×7 option for quite some time. This protection ensures precise monitoring around the clock and is more than just monitoring and forwarding SIEM messages. Because SECUINFRA analyzes these sustainably and carries out a precise qualification of the IT security incidents. Subsequently, SECUINFRA Cyber Defense experts develop proposals for countermeasures for their customers, based on their experience from more than 120 successful SIEM projects. Now, the Berlin-based company has expanded its cyber defense services: with immediate effect, SECUINFRA also guarantees 24×7 availability for the Compromise Assessment and Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) services.
The free choice
As of now, each company can choose from the three 24×7 Managed Cyber Defense Services to put together the package that best suits the company’s IT network and which protection it deems suitable for its needs. “We offer a detailed consultation and analysis in advance and are available to help our customers with any questions they may have when selecting the appropriate services,” emphasizes SECUINFRA Managing Director Ramon Weil. The Compromise Assessment Service detects compromised IT systems – ideally before high damage has occurred. Thanks to the regular review of the system landscape by the cyber defense analysts (Continuous Compromise Assessment), the company’s cyber resilience is decisively increased.
Guaranteed reconnaissance
If an IT security incident has occurred, SECUINFRA supports the investigation within the scope of the DFIR service. Here, the DFIR team of experts efficiently and purposefully investigates cyber attacks and identifies, analyzes, secures and documents all digital evidence in a court-proof manner for the customer. In addition, the Berlin IT specialist supports incident response and advises on improving cyber resilience.
The war in Ukraine is not the only reason why cyber attacks on banks, government institutions and commercial enterprises are increasingly being perceived by the public in Germany. Cybercrime continues to be on the rise. The Federal Criminal Police Office counted 146,363 such attacks in Germany in 2021 – and the trend is still rising. For this very reason, it is of utmost importance for companies to protect their IT comprehensively and around the clock against cybercriminal attacks.
