Reaching new heights at the SECUINFRA GmbH summer event

This year’s summer event was held on August 10 –14, 2017, on the Eibsee lake, situated at the base of the Zugspitze. There we enjoyed some unforgettable moments together with our colleagues and families.

On Thursday, we all sat down to dinner to kick off the alpine summer event. On Friday, we held a team meeting to discuss current issues and were delighted to welcome three new colleagues to our team. After reviewing the latest business figures, we set our sights on the future and discussed current projects along with our continuing course for development, for example, in the area of digital forensics.
After the team meeting, a few courageous attendees took advantage of the opportunity to take a dip in the crystal-clear waters of the Eibsee. The outside temperatures of 10°C/50°F and a water temperature of 20°C/68°F made for a refreshing swim. In the evening, we joined everyone and their whole families for a four-course meal in the hotel restaurant.
On Saturday, we then set off to idyllic Oberammergau, where we hopped on the Kolben chair lift to reach the summit station at 1,270 m/4,167 ft before zipping all the way back down to the bottom again on the Alpine Coaster. It was so much fun that once just wasn’t enough. After refilling our tanks with lunch in the rustic alpine hut, it was time for the second highlight of the day: a ride to the top of 2,962 m/9,718 ft summit of Germany’s tallest mountain, the Zugspitze. Absolutely stunning and covered in snow – even in mid-summer. We enjoyed a laid-back evening eating delicious food hot off the grill to wind down the action-packed weekend.
After breakfast on Sunday, it was homeward bound, with some flying directly to the location of their next work assignment. Alas, we all had to be back in full effect for our customers again on Monday.
