Since the beginning of September, three new colleagues have enriched our Cyber Defense Team: Welcome Armagan, Matthias and Benjamin! In the following, the three of them briefly introduce themselves and report on their training and professional career to date.<\/p>\n
“I am 33 years old, married and have two children. I graduated from the four-year bachelor’s program “Electronics\/Electrical Engineering” in Turkey. After graduation, I worked in the Navy for 8 years where I gained experience in various fields. After coming to Germany, I wanted to combine my previous career with the IT security industry, in which I have a strong interest. In order to develop myself further, I took part in further training during my German course and did relevant online training. While searching for suitable job opportunities, SECUINFRA caught my particular interest as I wanted to work as a Cyber Defense Analyst. I am very happy that I am now part of the Cyber Defense team at SECUINFRA.”<\/p>\n
“I am 26 years old and started my dual studies in 2016 as an IT specialist for system integration with a degree in business informatics. I completed my training in 2020 in a shortened form and earned my bachelor’s degree in 2022. The topic of my bachelor thesis was “Implementation of an automated interface to determine data equivalence between an ERP and RMM system”. During my education and studies, I found a special fondness for IT security, and I privately dabbled in it, setting up firewall systems at home. At that time I decided that I would like to specialize in IT security in the long run and was encouraged by my best subject of study IT security. I found my way to SECUINFRA through the online ads on Workwise and was determined to become a part of the team after reading the very positive Kununu reviews. I look forward to working with the team and customers in the future and doing my part to improve IT security.”<\/p>\n
“I am 25 years old and come from near Stuttgart. I am currently doing my Master’s in Computer Science with a specialization in “Networks and Cyber Security” at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz, where I am just starting to work on a thesis about “Zero-Knowledge Proofs”. I wrote my bachelor thesis at Aalen University about malware detection based on network logs using Zeek and YARA rules. Through two work-study jobs during my studies, I was already able to gain first experiences in dealing with SIEM systems and I am happy to support Norbert’s team now.”<\/p>\n
