Our colleagues Lanuar and Leonhard were there and experienced a day full of energy, insights and innovative perspectives. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Practice meets theory &#8211; the dual study program at h_da<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences has been one of the pioneers of practice-integrated dual study programs in Hesse since 1999. With a strong focus on the close integration of theory and professional practice, the dual study program offers optimal conditions for students: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>High practical component<\/strong>: practical phases during the lecture-free periods &#8211; plus regular practical days or projects in the company.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Financial independence<\/strong>: monthly paid studies &#8211; a valuable advantage over regular studies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Condensed duration of study<\/strong>: Bachelor&#8217;s degrees are possible in six and a half to seven semesters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Equivalence to standard studies<\/strong>: Degrees have the same recognition, possibly with a dual form certificate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Opportunities abroad<\/strong>: Semesters abroad are also possible in the dual study program &#8211; often in the theory block and with early planning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Regional roots, global networks<\/strong>: h_da is strongly networked in Hesse and cultivates collaborations and international alliances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Impulses from the lecture by Prof. Dr. Michael Becker<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A special highlight was the presentation by <strong>Prof. Dr. Michael Becker<\/strong>, Unicom Professor of the Year. Under the title <strong>\u201cWhat exactly connects education?\u201d<\/strong>, he impressively highlighted how the dual study program combines academic expertise and practical experience &#8211; something that we as a company can only confirm. His focus:  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Dual students as drivers of innovation<\/strong> &#8211; they bring fresh ideas, up-to-date specialist knowledge and dynamism to the company.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Employer branding through duality<\/strong> &#8211; attractive, future-oriented training paths make employers visible and desirable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Professional orientation<\/strong> &#8211; through practical experience, students can recognize their own career path at an early stage and shape it in a targeted manner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Competent in the world of work<\/strong> &#8211; alumni are well prepared for real company processes &#8211; a win for companies and students alike.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our summary of the summer party<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We were thrilled by this inspiring exchange. Prof. Becker&#8217;s presentation has encouraged us to further strengthen our programs for supporting dual students. We look forward to building <strong>bridges between science and practice<\/strong> together with h_da at the interface of education and infrastructure.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A big thank you to <strong>Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences<\/strong> for the excellent organization:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Fantastic location<\/strong>: perfect atmosphere for talks and networking in the countryside<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Selected buffet<\/strong>: ideal for an exuberant exchange with delicacies and a summer feeling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The dual study program is an excellent opportunity to network with talented people in the long term. We look forward to accompanying future students on their successful path &#8211; in theory and practice!
