The Ruhr University of Bochum (RUB) is a leader in the training of IT security specialists: After all, half of all ITS graduates in Germany study there. For our HR team, this was more than enough reason to establish contact with the students there within the scope of a cooperation, to get to know the growing talents in the field of IT security and to inspire them to pursue a career at SECUINFRA.
Key points of the cooperation
The main aspects of the cooperation, which was agreed upon at the beginning of the year, are fixed activities of SECUINFRA during the semester, such as the presentation of currently advertised job profiles in the field of cyber defense as well as informative and practical lectures about the IT security profession. In addition, SECUINFRA plans to support scholarship awards and will participate in ITS.Connect, the RUB’s in-house contact fair.
Since 2008, ITS.Connect has offered students of IT security or related subjects a platform to get in touch with numerous companies in the industry in a relaxed atmosphere. ITS.Connect 2022 will take place on May 3 and is planned as a presence fair in the RU’s event center.
With a varied mix of company presentations and case studies, SECUINFRA also plans to introduce students to the everyday work of cyber defense analysts and consultants with its exciting projects and challenges.
