In view of the ever-growing dependence on digital technologies, protecting sensitive data and IT infrastructures is becoming an absolute necessity. Cyber threats are constantly evolving, making it necessary to respond to security incidents not only quickly but also effectively. This is where Managed Detection and Response (MDR) comes into play.
Many companies do not have the resources to operate a Security Operations Center (SOC) themselves. This is hardly surprising, as it needs to be staffed around the clock by experienced specialists in order to quickly detect and fend off attacks. This is why the market for external security services has grown considerably in recent years.
Apple's new operating system, macOS 15 (Seqouia), was released on 16.9.2024 and has been extensively tested in a beta phase since June, but reports of network problems with the latest OS version have not stopped. Security tools from many well-known manufacturers such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft and SentinelOne are affected.
