The backdrop: a sunny Friday in July, the EventFabrik Durlach, a network of technology enthusiasts. The occasion: 30 years of Makro Factory - celebrated with an open house day that combined knowledge, innovation and exchange. SECUINFRA was right in the middle of it all as a Gold Sponsor. On June 28, 2025, the time had come: a highly motivated team of colleagues from SECUINFRA took on a very special challenge - the Strong Viking Run in Frankfurt. The infamous "Beast" distance of 19 kilometers took them through mud, water, forest and over countless obstacles. Our goal: to push boundaries, fight together and surpass ourselves as a team.

On June 24, 2025, this year's Bitkom summer party took place to mark the 25th anniversary of the digital association - and SECUINFRA was right in the middle of it. More than 1,000 representatives from business, politics and society gathered in the impressive setting of the Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin to celebrate Germany's digital future together. On June 18, 2025, we from SECUINFRA were able to be part of the inspiring summer festival at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences - and were thrilled by the exchange, knowledge transfer and networking! Our colleagues Lanuar and Leonhard were there and experienced a day full of energy, insights and innovative perspectives.
Elbsides - one of the most important community conferences for IT security in northern Germany - took place in Hamburg on June 13, 2025. The venue was the traditional Hotel Hafen Hamburg, which offered a suitable setting for in-depth professional exchange with a view of the Elbe and the harbor. SECUINFRA was represented on site by our colleague Evgen Blohm, Senior Cyber Defense Consultant.
On June 7, 2025, we participated in the fourth edition of the prestigious BSides Buffalo community conference at Canisius University's Science Hall in Buffalo, NY. Our presence at this internationally renowned event demonstrates our commitment to cyber defense, security research and active participation in the global InfoSec community.
On Friday, July 4, 2025, the Makro Factory will open its doors for its big anniversary event at the EventFabrik Durlach - and SECUINFRA will be there as a strong partner! Under the motto “Open House Day - 30 years of Makro Factory”, visitors can expect a day full of technology, expertise and networking at the highest level.
We look forward to SECUINFRA's participation in RVAsec 2025, which is being organized by the June 3-4, 2025 at the Downtown Richmond Marriott in Richmond, Virginia. This established conference is one of the most important cybersecurity events on the east coast of the USA.
RVAsec is characterized by its varied, two-track format with three parallel tracks offering technical deep dives, manager-level presentations and practical introductory offers.
On June 1, 2025, SECUINFRA was represented at BSides312 in Chicago - one of the most renowned community-driven conferences for IT security in the United States. The event took place at the Irish American Heritage Center and attracted numerous experts, researchers and security managers from the international cybersecurity community.
This year's J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge took place in Frankfurt on June 4, 2025 - and SECUINFRA was once again represented by a dedicated team. Together with 46,983 runners from 2,145 companies, our team took on the 5.8-kilometre course through Frankfurt's city center - in the best weather and an excellent atmosphere.
