At the heart of global cyber defense – expertise, networks and new impetus from Taipei
The Threat Analyst Summit 2025 in Taipei was once again the hotspot for international cyber threat intelligence and APT research – and SECUINFRA was right in the middle of it. Represented by our DFIR specialist Felix Rothe, we were not only able to impress at a technical level, but also maintain valuable contacts and establish new partnerships.
In addition to the intensive exchange of knowledge, the event also provided an opportunity to renew acquaintances from the previous year and make numerous new connections in the global cybersecurity community.
From zero-day to deep dive: what particularly impressed us professionally
The agenda had it all: with strong contributions from TeamT5 and Team Cymru, a high standard was set. Their analyses of current APT threats, regional attack patterns in the Asia-Pacific region and innovative threat intelligence frameworks were real highlights – not only for technology enthusiasts, but also for strategic decision-makers.
The focus was on an intensive exchange about new tools and methods in the areas of digital forensics, incident response and threat detection. Felix Rothe brought back new ideas for our daily work from his discussions with international DFIR experts – practical, highly relevant and directly implementable.
Hacker bar & high-level networking: cybersecurity meets scene spirit
Away from the talks, the summit once again showed how much the cyber defense community thrives on personal exchange. The legendary after-party and the relaxed atmosphere in the Hacker Bar provided the perfect setting for informal dialog – without a badge, but with all the more depth.
Not to forget: Taipei itself – a city that impressed with its technological charm, cultural diversity and impressive hospitality. It was clear to us: top-notch expertise, inspiring people and an unbeatable atmosphere.
Conclusion: The Threat Analyst Summit 2025 was a complete success for SECUINFRA – on a technical, strategic and personal level. With new insights, fresh ideas and strengthened connections, we look forward to the coming year with motivation – and are already looking forward to the next reunion with the international cybersecurity elite.
