The year is drawing to a close - a good time to pause, look back and look ahead at the same time. 2025 was characterized by high dynamics, growing technological complexity and a security situation that demanded clarity, resilience and reliability from organizations more than ever before.
On December 12, 2025, we came together at SECUINFRA in Frankfurt am Main to end the year together at our Christmas party - with room for retrospection, recognition and personal interaction.
The Threat Analyst Summit 2025 in Taipei was once again the hotspot for international cyber threat intelligence and APT research - and SECUINFRA was right in the middle of it. Represented by our DFIR specialist Felix Rothe, we were not only able to impress at a technical level, but also maintain valuable contacts and establish new partnerships.
With the entry into force of the EU regulation DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act), it is clear that the digital resilience of financial companies is no longer an optional extra - it is mandatory. From 2025, banks, insurance companies and other regulated financial service providers will have to meet stricter requirements for cyber security, incident management and IT risk management. But how can these requirements be implemented efficiently without suffocating operational efforts?
The requirements for effective IT security are increasing rapidly - especially for companies, authorities and public institutions. Against this backdrop, we at SECUINFRA have entered into a strategic partnership with DS DATA SYSTEMS GmbH with one goal in mind: to make organizations of all sizes more resilient to modern cyber attacks and to provide them with a fully integrated, auditable security ecosystem.
Edge devices have long been an integral part of modern IT infrastructures - powerful, flexible and can be used anywhere. However, it is precisely these strengths that make them the Achilles' heel of corporate security. A recent specialist article impressively describes how an attack on an edge system can lead to complete compromise in just six days - undetected, efficient and destructive.
On November 19, 2025, SECUINFRA was represented at the meet@h-da career fair at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. We look back with enthusiasm on a successful day at the fair.
As it does every year in the fall, the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) has published its latest "Situation Report on IT Security in Germany 2025". Once again, the conclusion is clear: there is no all-clear, as the IT security situation remains tense despite individual successes.
November 5 and 6, 2025 in Munich were two exceptionally intensive, inspiring and strategically valuable days for SECUINFRA. Both events - the Elastic{ON} ENGAGE and the ElasticON - merged into an overall experience that clearly demonstrated our partnership with Elastic: Our partnership with Elastic is on course for growth, both technically and strategically.
Cyber attacks are part of everyday life today - for companies of all sizes and in all industries. The question is no longer whether an attack will occur, but when. In Welt der Wunder - Das Interview, Ramon Weil, founder and CEO of SECUINFRA GmbH, talks about precisely this scenario - and about how modern cyber defense works when every second counts.
