BSIdes Frankfurt – Forensics Workshop

On August 28, 2025, SECUINFRA is offering a compact, practice-oriented workshop on Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) as part of BSides Frankfurt. In four hours, participants will gain a concentrated insight into the world of IT forensics – directly from the practical experience of experienced cyber defense consultants.
The workshop is aimed at IT security professionals, SOC employees and anyone who wants to develop an in-depth understanding of forensic methods and incident response processes. At the same time, the event is also interesting for IT decision-makers who want to learn how digital security incidents can be investigated efficiently and comprehensibly – a skill that is becoming increasingly strategically important in times of growing cyberattacks.
The workshop is also particularly interesting for anyone interested in a career in cyber defense. Participants not only gain valuable technical insights, but also get to know the people, methodology and corporate culture at SECUINFRA. So if you are thinking about starting a career in IT security or taking the next step in your career, you will have the opportunity to talk directly to our team – on an equal footing and without any pressure to apply.
Participants can expect a varied program in terms of content: from capturing and securing digital evidence to the analysis of forensic artefacts and the professional documentation and assessment of a security incident. The workshop is deliberately designed to be practical, with realistic case studies and tools that are actually used in the day-to-day work of a cyber defense consultant.
Participation in the workshop costs €30 and includes the technical session, catering and access to the BSides Frankfurt conference on the following day. The number of participants is limited – it is worth registering early.
Whether as professional training, strategic impetus or a discreet career start: the DFIR workshop with SECUINFRA is the ideal opportunity not only to discuss cybersecurity, but also to experience it hands-on.
