We spent this year’s kick-off on the Atlantic coast of the Canary Islands, enjoying welcome temperatures of 22°C. After a successful 2018 and a busy end to the year, we got things off to a good start in 2019 with a trip to Fuerteventura.

On board with us were a few new colleagues who joined us in recent months. We have continued to grow, have professionalized our services, and are looking forward to a year filled with new and exciting challenges.
We enjoyed our lunch overlooking the sea – with plenty of seafood and sunshine – let our first impressions of the area sink in and caught up with our colleagues. Refreshed, we carried on to the second stage, during which we heard the latest news from our specialist areas and listened to a few technical presentations.
On the following day, we took the catamaran to Lanzarote. The weather was on our side, and we enjoyed a relaxed journey on board. We dropped anchor by the picturesque beaches of Papagayo and were able to take a few spins on jet skis in the Atlantic, and go snorkeling and swimming. We followed this with refreshments before the sail was hoisted and we set course for Fuerteventura again.
Sunday was set aside for relaxing. A few of us used the time to walk along the beach, while others were more active and explored the nearby sand dunes by bike and buggy. We spent our final evening chatting over dinner and in the hotel bar.
The course is set, the sail is hoisted – full speed ahead, sailors! 🙂
