From February 2-5, our Company Kick-off took place in Sonthofen. A team event that was special in many respects and therefore will certainly remain in everyone’s memory for a long time. Here are some insights into our insightful and eventful team event in the Allgäu region.
Meeting day with exciting keynote speech by André Lange
Our meeting day on the first day of the team event has already become a tradition: In front of a beautiful snow-covered backdrop, the individual specialist teams gave insights into their current projects in informative and exciting presentations. Awards and promotions were also given – a special surprise for many a team member.
The afternoon kicked off with a very special guest: André Lange, with four gold medals as well as one silver medal the most successful bobsled pilot at Olympic Winter Games so far, impressed the SECUINFRA team with his impulse lecture. Main aspects for the motivating and entertaining business talk were success, teamwork and speed – fascination Olympia included. André concluded his presentation with an extensive question and answer session, followed by photos with the team, autographs and personal conversations. One of the special highlights of the event for the entire team!
Trip to the Nebelhorn: So close to heaven, so far from everyday life
On day 2, the team took the cable car up to the Nebelhorn mountain station at an altitude of 2,000 meters. The longest valley descent in Germany, fantastic winter hiking trails, culinary delights, fun sports, impressive low and fantastic wide views. Anyone who has ever been to the Nebelhorn knows this impressive and versatile place! Once at the top, it was time to start building the igloos! Divided into 8 groups, everyone worked towards the same goal: to build an igloo with their own group, using the Inuit block construction method – with muscle power and skill, with snow saws and shovels. And above all: with each other.
After a successful igloo mission, everyone gathered in the igloo restaurant: Here, not only numerous mulled wines were served at the ice bar, but also hearty Allgäu cheese fondue. So good and much, until the cheeks glowed. A successful conclusion to another eventful day!
