OpenText World Europe 2024 – exciting insights and highlights

OpenText World Europe 2024

Last week, we had the pleasure of attending OpenText World Europe 2024 at the MOC – Event Center Messe München.
The entire event was a success, and it was particularly interesting for us to learn about the planned ArcSight changes. It looks like OpenText is really working hard to modernize ArcSight.

The opening keynote with OpenText CEO & CTO, Mark J. Barrenechea, began with an inspiring quote: ‘Never send a human to do a machine’s job. – Agent Smith (The Matrix, 1999)’. This immediately signaled that AI would be a key topic. In fact, the keynote was mainly about OpenText’s AI product (Aviator), the future of AI and XDR. The OpenText Cloud also played a major role and it became clear that OpenText still has a lot planned in this area.

After the opening, we had the opportunity to take part in several sessions in which keynotes were held on various topics. NIS2, cybersecurity products from OpenText in general and the OpenText AI Aviator were just some of the exciting topics of discussion.
The discussions with OpenText employees and other partners from the security sector were particularly enriching. The exchange of experiences and ideas has broadened our perspective and given us new insights.

Overall, OpenText World Europe 2024 was an event full of fascinating insights and valuable discussions.
We are already looking forward to the next developments and innovations from OpenText in the cybersecurity world.
