Cyber Defense meets Christmas spirit: The SECUINFRA CTF Advent calendar

How do you combine Christmas cheer with a pinch of cyber defense? With the SECUINFRA CTF Advent calendar! From December 1, our employees can look forward to a special event that combines the festive season with an extra dose of IT security.

What is a CTF Advent calendar?

CTF stands for Capture the Flag – a popular format in IT security in which tricky tasks are solved in order to find virtual “flags”. We have integrated this principle into the Christmas season: 24 little doors full of mini-challenges, packed in lovingly designed Christmas stories, are waiting to be opened day after day.

This is how it works:

  • From December 1, a new door will be unlocked every day with an exciting task behind it.
  • The challenges cover various areas of IT and IT security – there is something for everyone.
  • Participation is for our SECUINFRA employees.

The combination of puzzles, stories and Christmas spirit makes this internal Advent calendar a highlight in the run-up to Christmas.

Why a CTF Advent calendar?

We attach great importance to team cohesion and continuous learning. The Advent calendar not only offers the opportunity to strengthen IT security skills in a playful way, but also to have a fun time together with colleagues.

The finale

The CTF Advent calendar ends on December 24th and we are excited to see who has managed to capture the most flags. Who will be our Christmas CTF champion? Stay tuned!

With this special event, we at SECUINFRA are ringing in the holidays and showing that cyber defense can also have a fun side during the Christmas season.
