On November 12 and 13, 2024, the KRITIS Praxis Forum took place in the Mainfrankensäle in Veitshöchheim, near Würzburg. The specialist event provided an ideal platform for discussing the latest developments and requirements in the field of critical infrastructures (KRITIS) and NIS2 legislation.
The event was extremely well attended, with around 300 participants, including representatives from local authorities, municipal utilities and water and electricity companies. The presentations were so well attended that some listeners even had to stand – a clear sign of the great interest in practical solutions and innovations.
As an exhibitor, we had the opportunity to talk to numerous interested parties and present our solutions for cyber security in critical infrastructures. The direct exchange showed once again how central the topic of IT security is for this target group, especially in light of the new NIS2 regulations.
After a successful first day at the trade fair, a joint dinner was held in the impressive Hofkeller Würzburg. The combination of first-class wine, exquisite food and a relaxed atmosphere provided the ideal opportunity to deepen contacts and continue the exchange.
The KRITIS Praxis Forum 2024 was excellently organized and we would like to thank the organizer Ausecus for the excellent support. The event impressively demonstrated the importance of dialog between experts, service providers and operators of critical infrastructures in order to jointly develop future-proof solutions.
