Yesterday evening, SECUINFRA’s Berlin office was transformed into a feel-good Christmas oasis – without any sophisticated cyber tricks! Instead, we opted for a tried-and-tested combination of mulled wine, pizza and a large portion of Christmas spirit to bring the year to a fitting close.
The tree that attracted everyone’s attention
An impressive Christmas tree was enthroned in the heart of the office – so magnificent that even the IT infrastructure seemed envious for a moment. The tree was decorated together to the accompaniment of festive music and loud laughter. Balls, fairy lights and the like were put up in record time, while “Last Christmas” played on a continuous loop for the third time in the background.
Mulled wine and good conversation
After the work was done, it was time to relax. Over steaming mugs of mulled wine and a mix of gingerbread and cookies, colleagues gathered in small groups. Between stimulating discussions and amusing anecdotes, an atmosphere was created that could hardly have been more pre-Christmas.
The art of giving: The Secret Santa round
A highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the Secret Santa round. Whether original gadgets, curious chocolate cutlery or a coffee mug set – the gifts not only brought laughter, but also a little amazement. The creative energy that usually flows into cyber defense showed its playful side here.
Pizza: a culinary Christmas classic?
A pizza station catered for the physical well-being of the guests, leaving nothing to be desired. Whether classic Margherita, spicy salami or unusual with pineapple – every slice was eaten with relish. The debate as to whether pizza is actually a Christmas food remained unresolved, but the empty plates spoke for themselves.
Ending with lots of laughter
The evening ended in a relaxed, cheerful atmosphere, with even the last team members overcoming their inner Grinch. With a wink and the odd “I really have to go back to the gym tomorrow” comment, we said goodbye into the night.
This year’s Christmas party at SECUINFRA’s Berlin office was a complete success and proved once again that our team not only masters cyber security, but also party culture at the highest level. With this in mind, have a Merry Christmas and a safe New Year!
