Save the Date: ISO 27001 and Service Management – Can it work?
On June 23, 2022, Denise Burkert will talk about this issue as part of her presentation at the ITSM Forum starting at 11:10 am. Together with Janina Hunsperger (Senior Consultant & Trainer at Punctdavista AG), she will discuss SECUINFRA’s path to ISO 27001 certification in combination with the company’s lived service management.
Denise Burkert already reveals in advance:
“Our goal to achieve ISO 27001 certification as a security company in the cyber defense environment seemed logical and not too difficult. But very quickly we realized that information security is much more than just IT security and that every organizational unit is a service delivery organization. For the first time, we had to map and document the governance, control, and management processes of Finance and HR in a structured way in the form of policies, guidelines, concepts, and processes. Bringing the knowledge from the heads of the employees “to paper” and our practiced service orientation were the basis for achieving our goals. Conclusion: If you want to provide services simply, securely and reliably, you have to live and breathe security – first and foremost within your own four walls.”
