The backdrop: a sunny Friday in July, the EventFabrik Durlach, a network of technology enthusiasts. The occasion: 30 years of Makro Factory – celebrated with an open house day that combined knowledge, innovation and exchange. SECUINFRA was right in the middle of it all as a gold sponsor. On site: our colleagues Szabina Hütter, Tim Suschinski and Fritz Greulich.
The number of visitors fell short of expectations. But what initially sounded like a setback quickly turned out to be an opportunity: more space for real discussions. For in-depth exchanges at eye level. For connections that have substance – with customers, partners and other sponsors.
Cyber resilience starts before the incident – and that’s where our contribution comes in
A special moment: the presentation by Fritz Greulich, Senior Cyber Defense Consultant at SECUINFRA. His topic: “Incident Response Readiness – How companies can prepare for an emergency”. No buzzwords, no alarmism – instead a practical guide on how organizations can react quickly, in a coordinated and effective manner in the event of a cyber attack. The reaction from the audience? Concentrated and interested. And afterwards: intensive discussions, new perspectives, specific questions.
Our conclusion: less show, more substance – and clear added value for everyone involved
Makro Factory has shown that mass is not always what counts. The organization? Confident, well thought-out, with attention to detail. The content? High quality, relevant, practical. And the format? A platform where encounters can lead to collaboration.
For us, the Open House Day was more than just a sponsorship event. It was a strategic signal: we are present, we are involved – and we rely on partnerships that achieve more than short-term visibility.
