THOTCON (0x13) enters its 13th edition in 2025 – and once again at a secret location somewhere in the Chicago metropolitan area. Organized by an independent non-profit community, THOTCON has long been more than an insider tip: it is a meeting place for some of the most brilliant minds in the international infosec scene.
Two days, three parallel tracks, exciting villages, workshops, lightning talks, CTFs – and all this in a unique atmosphere between high-tech and hackerspace.

We are particularly proud that our colleague Olivia Gallucci, Senior Security Researcher at SECUINFRA, will be speaking at THOTCON 0x13.
In her presentation titled “Elements of Cross-Platform Exploitation”, Olivia will highlight key techniques and strategies attackers use to exploit cross-platform vulnerabilities – and what this means for defenses.
It not only provides technical insights into exploit development and code reuse between Windows, Linux and macOS, but also provides practical approaches for detection and mitigation. In short: a must-read for anyone involved in both offensive and defensive security.
