SECUINFRA invites you to an adventure weekend: The anticipation was great, and it was worth the wait! SECUINFRA GmbH’s eagerly awaited summer team event took place in Berlin from September 12 to 15, 2024. With an impressive 118 participants, including employees, partners and children, the event was an unforgettable experience for all of us, combining professional development as well as joint leisure activities and team building at the highest level.
Day 1: Arrival and dinner together
The event began on Thursday with the arrival at the modern NH Hotel Berlin Alexanderplatz. After all participants had checked in, the evening began with a cozy dinner together, where initial discussions were held in a relaxed atmosphere. Everyone was able to get in the mood for the coming days with delicious food and drinks.
Day 2: Meeting day with inspiring presentations
Friday was marked by exciting presentations and training sessions organized exclusively for almost 80 SECUINFRA employees. After a hearty breakfast, the meeting day began, covering important topics such as consulting, marketing and sales. Particularly noteworthy was the ISMS awareness training led by Denise and Kaan. Equally captivating was David and Christian’s presentation on “Detection Informed Evasion”, which provided new perspectives on cyber defense.
In addition to the technical topics, the focus was also on the well-being of all employees: Sarah addressed the important topic of “Mental Health in IT”, while Simon generated enthusiasm with his presentation on the SOAR (AlertAssistant) developed by SECUINFRA.
In the evening, a visit to the Chameleon Theater with the fascinating show “Wolf” rounded off the program. The dynamic mix of acrobatics and dance inspired us and made for an impressive end to the day.
Day 3: Culture, sightseeing and beach feeling
Discovering Berlin was on the agenda on Saturday. On a guided city tour, we explored the highlights of the capital, including an exclusive tour of the Olympic Stadium. The tour guides provided interesting insights into the history of the city, while short walks and snacks provided relaxation. We also didn’t miss out on a visit to the Arminiusmarkthalle, which enticed us with a delicious brunch.
In the afternoon, the BeachMitte event area became the venue for sporting activities: Beach volleyball, table football and climbing in the high ropes course offered fun and challenges for everyone. In the evening, we enjoyed a cozy BBQ before moving on to the relaxed part of the evening with cocktails and long drinks.
Day 4: Brunch and farewell
On Sunday, we rounded off the event with a hearty breakfast before it was time to say goodbye and head home. Those who wanted to could spend the day sightseeing in Berlin.
The days in the capital were characterized by a mix of professional input, cultural highlights and team-building activities, which created a special atmosphere.
An event that inspired
SECUINFRA’s 2024 summer team event was a complete success. The combination of professional development with cultural and sporting activities strengthened team cohesion and provided a valuable platform for exchange between all employees. The meticulous organization and varied program contributed to the fact that everyone returned home with many new impressions and a strengthened team spirit.
