From March 18 to 20, 2025, secIT by Heise opened its doors once again at the Hannover Congress Centrum – and SECUINFRA, as a leading specialist in the field of cyber defense, was of course there. The trade fair is one of the most important meeting places for IT security managers in German-speaking countries. With a top-class lecture program, practical workshops and an impressive range of exhibitors, secIT once again offered the ideal platform for knowledge exchange, networking and technological insights.
Strong visitor numbers and lively interest in current security topics
This year’s secIT was very well attended: Numerous trade visitors from a wide range of industries took the opportunity to find out about current threat scenarios, new technologies and best practices in the field of IT security. The presentations and deep dive sessions were very popular – a clear sign of the growing interest in well-founded, practice-oriented cyber defense.
SECUINFRA held intensive discussions with decision-makers, security experts and partners over the three days of the event. The high technical quality of the discussions and the positive response to the topics presented once again underline the relevance and expertise that SECUINFRA brings to the field of cyber defense.
Focus on personal exchange and partnership
A particular highlight for the SECUINFRA team was the personal exchange with long-standing partners and getting to know new potential cooperation partners. The direct contact on site not only provided a deeper insight into joint projects, but also laid the foundation for future synergies in the areas of Managed Detection and Response and Threat Hunting.
We were particularly pleased to visit our valued partner Nextron Systems. The Nextron team impressed at the trade fair with their innovative solutions for automated compromise assessment and presented exciting innovations in the areas of APT detection, incident response and forensic analysis. The workshop held by Nextron was also very well attended and met with lively interest from the specialist audience – further proof of the high quality and relevance of their work.
Summary: Visible impact and valuable impetus
Participation proved to be extremely effective and profitable for us – both in terms of professional networking and the strategic development of our cyber defense services.
