SECUINFRA at the Strategy Summit Cyber Security in Berlin
From December 1-2, 2021, the Cyber Security Strategy Summit took place at the Titanic Chaussee Hotel in Berlin. Under the motto “Cyber Security weitergedacht” security decision makers from different companies met for networking, case studies, workshops & discussions.
We were also represented with a small booth and had high-quality and targeted discussions on the topic of cyber security. From the current usual testing procedure before entering to the technical presentations, the whole event was perfectly organized. Besides Christoph Bach, Senior Sales Manager at SECUINFRA, founder & CEO Ramon Weil was also available to answer questions.
As a highlight on the first day of the summit, Ramon Weil presented best practices from 11+ years of SIEM Consulting in a technical lecture. In addition to an overview of common SIEM products as well as SIEM best practices, there was also an insight into SIEM use case development, highlighting the importance of generating the right data. Finally, the presentation found a successful basis with further approaches to SIEM operation (SIEM roles, co-managed SIEM vs. managed SIEM, 5×8 or 7×24), in order to go into further detail afterwards with open questions and in personal discussions.
Further core topics of this event were:
- Zero Trust in IT & OT
- Cyber Security Programms
- Holistic Security Governance & ISO-as-a-Service
- Password Analytics & Quality Assurance
- Prevent • Detect • React
- Identity & Access Management
- Cloud Security & Governance
- Predictive Security
- Employee Awareness
- Active Directory
The strategy summit was a successful conclusion of our event year.
