SECUINFRA onboarding for new teammates

SECUINFRA Onboarding

The Berlin-based cyber defense specialist has 80 employees for the first time in February 2024 As is usual with any new addition to the team, the new specialists benefit from a comprehensive onboarding program that is constantly being expanded and intensively supported by the HR, IT and training teams.

The first onboarding stations include a personal photo shoot at the main location in Berlin and a welcome to the office followed by a tour of the premises. The new team members will also receive their personal equipment, including an Apple MacBook, an iPhone, a high-quality backpack from Kapten & Son and a personalized polo shirt from Trigema with the SECUINFRA logo. After a general introduction and the setup of your personal equipment by the internal IT department, a joint dinner provides an opportunity to get to know each other.

At SECUINFRA, professional training starts on the second working day and lasts six to eight weeks. Under the leadership of Principal Cyber Defense Consultant, David Bischoff, employees are trained in all relevant areas of cyber defense with a clear practical focus, regardless of their future area of deployment. The spectrum of topics ranges from detection engineering, SIEM, NDR and EDR to event analysis & incident response, red team engagement, digital forensics & incident response and compromise assessment.

The second week usually takes place at the Frankfurt location in the interests of employee networking. There, the new team members also enjoy the now traditional welcome barbecue with other colleagues, with David Bischoff personally firing up the grill on the roof terrace of the Frankfurt office apartment.

Team spirit is very important to us at SECUINFRA, which is reflected in regular get-togethers, for example,” says Semiramis Savas, HR Manager at SECUINFRA. “This creates a strong sense of togetherness right from the start, even with a flexible choice of work location and possible remote working. In addition, we underpin our high quality standards with intensive specialist training and a six-month mentoring program – every new colleague is assigned a mentor. We also offer plenty of opportunities to deepen your specialist knowledge over the course of your career.”

SECUINFRA is open when it comes to selecting new team members: the Berlin-based cyber security company is open to graduates and trainees as well as experienced professionals, dual and working students and career changers.
